Person aristocratic or refined to the edge of the picturesque. With this meaning was used in Chile for the first time in the magazine of the Sunday in the newspaper El Mercurio de Santiago, in a story entitled the Pirulas, on January 6, 1980. The word was coined by the director of this publication, the journalist Luis Alberto Ganderats, for this report, and then spread in the everyday speech of Chile.
